Mechanism Of Action

Bose 0.2mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes responsible for breaking complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose levels from rising very high immediately after meals.

voglibose is poorly absorbed after oral administration. However, systematic adverse effects have been observed. Metabolism: the metabolism of voglibose in liver is negligible. Excretion: The renal excretion is negligible and plasma concentations after oral dose have been undetectable.

Interactions

VOGLIBOSE may interact with antidiabetics (metformin, insulin,), pain killers (aspirin), thyroid hormone (levothyroxine), anti-HIV drugs (zidovudine), asthma medicine (theophylline), and blood thinners (warfarin).
