Brimosun P Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml is composed of two medicines, stabilised oxychloride and brimonidine. Brimonidine inhibits carbonic anhydrase. It acts by lowering the elevated ocular pressure by reducing the. Stabilized Oxychloro is a preservative.
After ocular administration of either a 0.1% or 0.2% solution, plasma concentrations peaked within 0.5 to 2.5 hours and declined with a systemic half-life of approximately 2 hours. In humans, systemic metabolism of brimonidine is extensive. It is metabolized primarily by the liver.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Hypersensitivity to Brimosun P Eye Drops is a contraindication. In addition, Brimosun P Eye Drops should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors therapy

Brimosun P Eye Drops is used in the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma. These are conditions characterised by increased intra- ocular pressure (increased pressure within your eyeballs) due to an imbalance in the production and drainage of the fluid in your eyes.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Brimosun P Eye Drops may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Brimosun P Eye Drops may interact with the following drugs and products:
Acetaminophen
Alcohol
Ascorbic acid
Aspirin
Atorvastatin
Cholecalciferol
Clopidogrel
Cyanocobalamin
Digoxin
Furosemide
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Brimosun P Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Brimosun P Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines that lowers high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop.
If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
It may cause short term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines.
It may cause temporary burning or itching sensation in the eye. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
