Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort.
After oral administration, peak serum concentration is reached after 1–2 hours, and up to 99% of the drug is bound to plasma proteins. The majority of ibuprofen is metabolized and eliminated within 24 hours in the urine; however, 1% of the unchanged drug is removed through biliary excretion.Tizanidine has linear pharmacokinetics over the doses studied in clinical development (1-20 mg). Tizanidine has a half-life of approximately 2.5 hours (CV=33%). Approximately 95% of an administered dose is metabolized. The primary cytochrome P450 isoenzyme involved in tizanidine metabolism is CYP1A2.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule.
Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

IBUPROFEN+TIZANIDINE is used to treat acute pain associated with muscle spasms that usually occur due to muscle strains, sprains or injuries in the lower back. It contains ibuprofen and tizanidine. Ibuprofen can reduce pain, swelling and inflammation in the muscles, whereas tizanidine can reduce muscle spasms and pain.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Along with taking Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.
You might experience nausea, ask your doctor to prescribe you an antiemetic (anti-sickness medicine) if it troubles you.
Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, heart disease, or stroke.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule is to be taken with food.
