Bucelon 60mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.

In summary, intravenous busulfan has highly predictable, linear pharmacokinetics from 32 mg/m2 (approximately 0.8 mg/kg) to 130 mg/m2 (approximately 3.2 mg/kg). Further, once-daily intravenous busulfan dosing is convenient, favoring its more widespread application.

Acute leukemia

Anemia

Blockage or closing off of blood vessels in the liver

Bone marrow suppression

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Chronic myelogenous leukemia blast crisis

Decreased Neutrophils a type of white blood cell

Decreased blood platelets

Doubtful chronic myelogenous leukemia diagnosis

Indications

Chronic Myelogenous (Myeloid, Myelocytic, Granulocytic) Leukemia. Pre-medicate with anticonvulsants (e.g. benzodiazepines, phenytoin, valproic acid or levetiracetam) and antiemetic.

Brain Malignancies (Orphan).

Stem Cell Transplantation (Orphan).

Hepatic Impairment.

Renal Impairment.
