Burnosaf Plus Cream is meant for external use only. It should be applied only to the affected area of the skin, after cleaning the wound. Use it as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. In order to get the most benefit, apply it regularly and preferably at the same time each day. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. This will only increase the risk of side effects. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the medicine in these areas.
Burnosaf Plus Cream is an antibiotic medicine that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to prevent and treat infections of burn wounds. This medicine stops the bacteria from growing, which helps to resolve your symptoms.
Silver sulfadiazine is not absorbed through intact skin. In contact with body fluids, it is converted by sulfhydryl groups and proteins to free sulfadiazine, which can be systemically absorbed, especially when applied to second- or third-degree burns.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
