C Baz 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Pharmacokinets

Clobazam has predictable pharmacokinetics, with peak serum/plasma concentration in 1–3 h and an elimination half-life of 10–30 h. Activity of clobazam is attributed to both the parent drug and the metabolite N-desmethylclobazam, which is generated primarily through a reaction mediated by CYP3A4.
