C Baz 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming.
C Baz 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Clobazam has predictable pharmacokinetics, with peak serum/plasma concentration in 1–3 h and an elimination half-life of 10–30 h. Activity of clobazam is attributed to both the parent drug and the metabolite N-desmethylclobazam, which is generated primarily through a reaction mediated by CYP3A4.

Short-term use is not expected to cause any adverse effects in the breastfed baby, especially if the baby is older than 2 months. During long-term use, monitor for possible sleepiness.

If you miss a dose of C Baz 5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
