C Tri XP 250mg/31.25mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria.
Ceftriaxone can be administered intravenously and intramuscularly, and the drug is completely absorbed. It is not available orally. Distribution: Ceftriaxone penetrates tissues and body fluids well, including cerebrospinal fluid to treat central nervous system infections,Within 30 min of infusion, piperacillin/tazobactam achieves 16-85% of plasma concentrations in skin, muscle, lung, gallbladder, and intestinal mucosa. Plasma and tissue levels remain above the MIC90s of major pathogens for 2 h post administration.

Consuming alcohol with C Tri XP 250mg/31.25mg Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
C Tri XP 250mg/31.25mg Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Stop taking C Tri XP 250mg/31.25mg Injection and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
