The tablet helps boost immunity, prevent and manage nutritional deficiencies. It is prescribed for the treatment of joint pains, osteomalacia (softening of bones involving pain), osteoporosis (weak bones due to low bone density), osteoarthritis, rickets (a condition in children involving softening of the bones), hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism (causing low blood calcium). It prevents weakening of the bones and bone disease in people with kidney problems (renal osteodystrophy). However, the uses of the tablet mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.
