Calcimax ISO Capsule is a combination medicine that is used in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. It regulates calcium absorption in the body and strengthens the bones. It helps in the growth and development of muscles, nervous system, and heart.
When used as a nutritional supplement, calcium carbonate acts by directly increasing calcium stores within the body. Calcium carbonate is a basic inorganic salt that acts by neutralizing hydrochloric acid in gastric secretions. It also inhibits the action of pepsin by increasing the pH and via adsorption,Calcitriol is rapidly absorbed from the intestine. Peak serum concentrations (above basal values) were reached within 3 to 6 hours following oral administration of single doses of 0.25 to 1.0 mcg of Rocaltrol,

Calcitriol is a dietary supplement to correct calcium deficiency. It works to promote healthy bones, muscles, nervous system, and heart. Soya Isoflavones is a phytoestrogen. It improves the heart’s health and strengthens bones in post-menopausal (cessation of periods) women.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Calcimax Iso Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Calcimax Iso Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:
Acetaminophen
Alendronate
Amlodipine
Ascorbic acid
Aspirin
Atorvastatin
Calcium acetate
Carvedilol
Ciprofloxacin
Clopidogrel
Do not chew, crush or break it. Calcimax ISO Capsule may be taken with or without food,but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Calcimax ISO Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Calcimax ISO Capsule is used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
It is recommended that you take Calcimax ISO Capsule at bedtime, preferably at least 2 hours after dinner. You may lie down immediately after taking it if you wish.
If you take antacids (medicines to relieve heartburn) or medicines containing calcium you should take them at least 2 hours after taking Calcimax ISO Capsule to avoid interference.
Inform your doctor if you have or have had a blood clot, heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, or if you have had surgery on the arteries of your legs.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Calcimax ISO Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
