Calcirol Drops can rarely cause side effects like constipation, nausea, vomiting etc. Consult your child's doctor if these side effects are observed for a long time. Calcirol Drops can be given with or without food, as instructed by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, try giving it at the same time every day. The dose will be dependant on the severity of your child's condition. Do not stop giving this medicine without consulting with the doctor.Calcirol Drops is not recommended if your child has malabsorption syndrome (insufficient absorption of nutrients from the stomach), high calcium or vitamin D3 levels. Inform your doctor about their current medications as they can interact with Calcirol Drops and can cause side effects. Inform your child's doctor if your child has any pre-existing kidney problems.
