Caludec 50mg Tablet works by blocking the effect of androgens (testosterone) in order to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Bicalutamide is an androgen receptor inhibitor used to treat Stage D2 metastatic carcinoma of the prostate. Bicalutamide is an oral non-steroidal anti-androgen for prostate cancer. It is comprised of a racemic mixture that is a 50:50 composition of the (R)-bicalutamide and (S)-bicalutamide enantionmers.

If you miss a dose of Caludec 50mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
