Like the receptors for other steroid hormones and thyroid hormones, the vitamin D receptor has hormone-binding and DNA-binding domains,Methylcobalamin can be administered orally, parenterally and intranasal. Methylcobalamin binds with an intrinsic factor and form a complex which is absorbed in distal ileum. Its half life is 6 days.
