Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Candi Cream is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. These include athlete's foot, ringworm, vaginal thrush, and sweat rash. It works by killing and stopping the growth of fungi, thereby clearing the infection and relieving the symptoms.

Pharmacokinets

The reported half-life of fluocinolone acetonide ranges between 1.3-1.7 hours. This pharmacokinetic parameter is not relevant as the systemic absorption of fluocinolone acetonide is very minimal and the concentration in urine is lower than the minimum quantitation limit,The salivary pharmacokinetic profile of miconazole in the oral gel showed peak concentrations 30 min after each gel application. The mean maximum salivary miconazole concentration over the 12-h period occurred 30 min after the second application of the gel.
