This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). Candid Cream 50 gm works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candid Cream 50 gm destroys the infection by allowing the holes to open in the cell membrane and the components to leak out. This kills the fungus and cures the infection.
