Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Canditas BGN 0.5% Cream is a combination of medicines used to treat skin infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It works by killing and stopping the growth of infection causing microorganisms, thereby clearing the infection and relieving the symptoms.

Pharmacokinets

Beclomethasone dipropionate works by attenuating the inflammatory responses associated with asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. It suppresses the actions of inflammatory cells, such as mast cells, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils.Neomycin is bactericidal in action. Similar to other aminoglycosides, it inhibits bacterial protein synthesis through irreversible binding to the 30 S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria.Clotrimazole exerts its action primarily by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal cytoplasmic membrane. [6] Clotrimazole thereby inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in a concentration-dependent manner by inhibiting the demethylation of 14 alpha lanosterol.
