Carebet-GC Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. If it gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina rinse with water. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor.
Carebet-GC Cream is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It also has antimicrobial action against infection-causing microorganisms.
Betamethasone phosphate disappeared rapidly from plasma (mean half-life = 4.7 min) as betamethasone levels rose. Betamethasone plasma levels reached a peak 10-36 min after administration of the phosphate before declining in a biexponential manner. The terminal slow disposition phase had a mean half-life of 6.5 h.Clotrimazole exerts its action primarily by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal cytoplasmic membrane. [6] Clotrimazole thereby inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in a concentration-dependent manner by inhibiting the demethylation of 14 alpha lanosterol,The dosage of gentamicin necessary to produce mean peak serum concentrations between 4 mug/ml and 6 mug/ml was 60 mg/m2 per dose for all age groups or 2.5 mg/kg per dose for ages one-half to five years, 2.0 mg/kg per dose for ages five to 10 years, and 1.5 mg/kg per dose for ages greater than 10 years.

BETAMETHASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is used to treat fungal and bacterial skin infections, such as eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. BETAMETHASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN comprises Betamethasone (steroid), Clotrimazole (antifungal), and Gentamicin (antibiotic).
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Carebet Gc Cream may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Carebet Gc Cream may interact with the following drugs and products:
Acetaminophen
Amphotericin B
Atropine
Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors
Chlorpropamide
Flucytosine
Glucocorticoids
Nystatin

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Carebet-GC Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
