L-Carnitine is eliminated from the body mainly via urinary excretion. Under baseline conditions, the renal clearance of L-carnitine (1-3 mL/min) is substantially less than glomerular filtration rate (GFR), indicating extensive (98-99%) tubular reabsorption,Plasma CoQ10 levels start to increase 1–2 h after oral intake, with maximum concentration occurring within 6–8 h and with a half-life that may reach 34 h [17]. CoQ10 is mainly absorbed in the small bowel and is then transported to the liver, forming the lipoprotein complex [18],Zinc can treat acute and chronic diarrhea by inhibiting three out of the four main intracellular pathways of intestinal ion secretion, including cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), calcium, and nitric oxide,Blood samples were collected for a total of 28 days (672 h) after administration of single doses of lycopene. The mean time (tmax) to reach maximum total lycopene concentration (Cmax) ranged from 15.6 to 32.6 h. The Cmax for total lycopene ranged between 4.03 and 11.27 μg/dl (0.075–0.210 μm),The pharmacokinetic parameters of astaxanthin were dose dependent after its intravenous administration, due to the saturable hepatic metabolism of astaxanthin, but dose independent after oral administration. The gastrointestinal absorption of astaxanthin followed the flip-flop model.
