Carsiva Forte Tablet 10's belongs to a class of medications called pain killer/non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). Carsiva Forte Tablet 10's is primarily used to treat the pain of osteoarthritis (OA) in specific large and small joints, joint pains due to arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, swelling due to arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a chronic (lifelong) joint condition in which a Glucosamine sulfate (a chemical found in the human body, especially in joints) gets reduced. The body uses this fluid to produce other chemicals required to make ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and the thick fluid surrounding joints. When this chemical gets reduced, the cartilage breaks down. It becomes thin, which causes friction between the bones leading to wear and tear (damage) of the joint tissues leading to pain, stiffness, inflammation, and reduced locomotion.
Carsiva Forte Tablet 10's contains three medicines, namely Ascorbic acid (Vit C), collagen, and glucosamine. Glucosamine sulfate is a natural protein found in the body used by the body to produce various chemicals responsible for building ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and the thick fluid surrounding joints. Taking Carsiva Forte Tablet 10's may either enhance the cartilage and fluid surrounding joints or prevent both component's breakdown. Both in combination helps in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue that cushions the joints) and make the joints lubricated for better movement and flexibility. Vitamin C helps in the redevelopment of cartilage and thus gives relief in osteoarthritis. Collagen is a nutritional supplement that has a perfect role to play.
