Ccad 5mg Tablet may be prescribed alone or along with other medicines. The dose depends on the severity of your condition. You can take it at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Do not stop this medicine on your own, even if you feel well because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. This makes it hard to identify any sudden spike and if you stop taking it, your condition may get worse.
Ccad 5mg Tablet belongs to a class of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This means that more oxygen gets to your heart and reduces the risk of getting chest pain (angina).
Cilnidipine presents a very rapid absorption with a maximum peaked concentration after 2 hours. Its distribution tends to be higher in the liver as well as in kidneys, plasma and other tissues. Cilnidipine does not present a high accumulation in the tissue after repeated oral administration.

CILNIDIPINE is known to interact when taken with an antiarrhythmic agent (quinidine), antiepileptic medicine (phenytoin) anti TB drug (rifampicin), antibiotics (erythromycin), other blood pressure-lowering pills (amlodipine) and antipsychotic drugs.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Ccad 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Ccad 5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
