Cdpin 10 Tablet may be prescribed alone or along with other medicines. The dose depends on the severity of your condition. You can take it at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Do not stop this medicine on your own, even if you feel well because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. This makes it hard to identify any sudden spike and if you stop taking it, your condition may get worse.
Cdpin 10Mg Tablet contains Cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker that acts by relaxing the blood vessels. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, it helps to lower high blood pressure, reducing the chances of heart attack or stroke.
Cilnidipine presents a very rapid absorption with a maximum peaked concentration after 2 hours. Its distribution tends to be higher in the liver as well as in kidneys, plasma and other tissues. Cilnidipine does not present a high accumulation in the tissue after repeated oral administration.

Cdpin 10Mg Tablet is known to interact when taken with an antiarrhythmic agent (quinidine), antiepileptic medicine (phenytoin) anti TB drug (rifampicin), antibiotics (erythromycin), other blood pressure-lowering pills (amlodipine) and antipsychotic drugs.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Cdpin 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Cdpin 10 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
