Ceact 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped without talking to your doctor as it may result in twitching or jerking movements and even relapse of the disease may occur.
CEACT 400MG TABLET contains 'Piracetam' that acts on the brain and nervous system, thereby protects against shortness of oxygen. It also improves the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine which helps in communication between brain cells. You can take CEACT 400MG TABLET with or without food.
Piracetam is predominantly excreted via renal elimination, where about 80-100% of the total dose is recovered in the urine. Approximately 90% of the dose of piracetam is excreted in the urine as unchanged drug 4. The plasma half life of piracetam is approximately 5 hours following oral or intravenous administration.

Ceact 400mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and memory loss in Parkinson's disease. It can also be used to treat age-related memory loss and head injury. It works by improving communication between the nerve cells and protects the brain.
CEACT 400MG TABLET may have interaction with hormone (thyroxine), anti-coagulant (warfarin, acenocoumarol), and pain killer (aspirin). Food-Drug Interactions: Avoid alcohol consumption while taking CEACT 400MG TABLET as it might cause increased drowsiness and sleepiness.
