Cebran D Eye Drop is a medicine used to treat eye infections with inflammation. It kills and prevents the growth of infection-causing bacteria. This way it relieves the inflammatory symptoms such as redness, itching, and swelling and speeds up the healing process.
The pharmacokinetics of ciprofloxacin in healthy volunteers include a time to peak concentrations after oral dosage (tmax) of 1–1.5 h, oral availability of 0.5–0.7, protein binding of 0.2–0.3, volume of distribution (V) of 2–3 l kg−1, half-life (t1/2) of 3–4 h and fraction excreted unchanged in the urine of 0.4–0.6 [4],The dose dependency of the pharmacokinetics of dexamethasone and its influence on the endogenous secretion of cortisol has been studied in healthy females. The maximum plasma level occurred between 1.6 and 2.0 h after doses of 0.5-3.0 mg independent of the type of administration.

O Cebran D Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infection of the eyes such as conjunctivitis or pink eye. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching or irritation in the eyes. Use it 2-3 times a day for atleast a week or as prescribed by the doctor.
Is it safe to use Ciprofloxacin+Dexamethasone? Yes, Ciprofloxacin+Dexamethasone is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause some unwanted common side effects like eye irritation, eye discomfort and other uncommon and rare side effects.
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

If you miss a dose of Cebran D Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
