The pharmacokinetics of cefotaxime after intramuscular injection and intravenous infusion were determined. The mean peak serum level after the 500-mg intramuscular dose was 11.7 micrograms/ml, and it was 20.5 micrograms/ml after a 1,000-mg dose. The serum half-life was 1.2 and 1.3 h, respectively for the two doses.

If you have a history of severe allergic reaction to Penicillin, Monobactams, Carbapenems or other Beta-Lactam antibiotic.
Cefaxil 250mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Consuming alcohol with Cefaxil 250mg Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
Use with caution
Cefaxil 250mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Cefaxil 500 MG Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefuroxime. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin, bladder, etc. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted disease caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women.

seizure disorders.
Adults: 400 mg once daily for 5 - 10 days Dose is determined on the basis of severity of the infection, type of infecting organism.
