Cefoclox XL Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.
Cefoclox XL tablet works by the combined action of its components - Cefpodoxime, Dicloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Both Cefpodoxime and Dicloxacillin are antibiotics, which work by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, which ultimately leads to the death of bacteria
Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefpodoxime and Dicloxacillin. Both of them work by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for their survival. Thereby damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria

Cefoclox XL Tablet is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and infections of the ears, skin, throat, stomach, and bones. It works by killing the bacteria causing infections in the body
Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's may interact with a blood thinner (warfarin), water tablet (furosemide) and antibiotic (azithromycin).
Do not break, crush or chew it. Do not take Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's while getting ready for bed or lying down to prevent stomach irritation or heartburn.
Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. - If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. - Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. - Do not change the dose or stop this drug. - Talk with the doctor.

If you are about to undergo any blood or urine tests, inform your doctor that you are taking Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's as it may interfere with these tests.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin.
Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's may affect coagulation test or prothrombin time (time is taken for blood clotting), liver function tests, and serum tests. Inform the person doing the tests that you are taking Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's.
Diabetes patients who take blood tests should inform your doctor about your use of Cefoclox XL Tablet 10's.
May cause live bacterial vaccines (such as typhoid vaccine) to not work as well. Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to.

Yes, the use of Cefoclox XL Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.
