Celcox 100mg Capsule can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.Common side effects of this medicine include stomach pain, diarrhea, flatulence, flu-like symptoms, and peripheral edema. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms by prescribing you an alternative medicine or by adjusting the dose.
Celcox 100mg Capsule works by inhibiting the formation of chemicals called prostaglandins in the body that cause pain and inflammation, thereby reducing the pain and swelling symptoms.
It is extensively metabolized in the liver, with very little drug (< 3%) being eliminated unchanged [17]. The major routes of excretion for celecoxib are feces and urine [18]. Celecoxib is metabolized primarily through methyl hydroxylation to form hydroxycelecoxib.

Celcox 100mg Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Celcox 100mg Capsule.
Celcox 100mg Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Celecoxib is indicated for symptomatic treatment of adult osteoarthritis (OA) and adult rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Celecoxib is not a substitute for aspirin for cardiovascular event prophylaxis.
CELECOXIB may have interaction with pain killers (ibuprofen, diclofenac, paracetamol, aspirin), high blood pressure-lowering medicines (propranolol, enalapril, losartan, candesartan), water pills (furosemide), blood thinners (heparin, warfarin, clopidogrel), fits related medicines (phenytoin), antidiabetic drugs (glimepiride, glipizide), antibiotics (moxifloxacin, ciprofloxacin), HIV/AIDS medicines (Zidovudine), Immuno-suppressants medicines (cyclosporine), cardiac drugs (digoxin), psychiatric medication (lithium).
Celcox 100mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Celcox 100mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Celcox 100mg Capsule helps relieve pain and inflammation.
It may cause fewer stomach problems as compared to other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen.
It may cause dizziness and fatigue. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
Do not consume alcohol while on treatment with this medicine as it may cause excessive drowsiness.
Regularly monitor your blood pressure while taking this medicine, particularly in the first two weeks after starting treatment.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
During long-term treatment, your doctor may want to take regular blood tests to monitor your liver function.
Do not take Celcox 100mg Capsule if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
