Cetadom Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Domperidone is used to control nausea and vomiting caused due to migraine. It acts by increasing the motility of the stomach and intestines. Paracetamol works by blocking the release of certain chemical substances which cause pain and fever
The absorption of domperidone was very rapid, with mean peak plasma concentration (Cmax) values of 18.8, 15.0, and 20.7 ng/mL attained at 0.9, 1.2, and 0.6 hours after the administration of base tablet, maleate tablet, and solution, respectively. The mean elimination half-life (t1/2) ranged from 12.6 to 16.0 hours

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Cetadom Tablet.
Cetadom Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
DOMPERIDONE+PARACETAMOL is a combination medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of migraine, and any medical condition with concomitant nausea/vomiting and fever/pain

antipsychotic medications (e.g., haloperidol, pimozide, risperidone, quetiapine, ziprasidone)

Despite its frequent coadministration with other drugs and widespread use, very few clinically significant drug interactions have been documented with paracetamol. Drugs that alter gastric emptying can alter paracetamol pharmacokinetics, but this does not result in toxicity in therapeutic use

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Cetadom Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.

Cetadom Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack:
Have your meals at the same time every day.
Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures.
Avoid loud music and noisy places.
Avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking.
Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.

Q. What is Cetadom Tablet?
Cetadom Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen. Domperidone helps to control vomiting. It also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraine. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever associated with migraine.
Q. Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of this medicine?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Cetadom Tablet can increase the risks of side effects and liver damage. If you are experiencing increased severity of symptoms that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. Can I get addicted to Cetadom Tablet?
No, there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Cetadom Tablet.
Q. Can the use of Cetadom Tablet cause damage to liver?
Yes, Cetadom Tablet can cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease.
Q. What is the recommended storage condition for the Cetadom Tablet?
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
