Cholergol Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as the doctor advises and do not stop taking it suddenly as it may result in worsening of headaches.
Cholergol Tablet 10's inhibits platelet aggregation or clumping that further leads to the formation of a blood clot, thus preventing various vascular disorders. Cholergol Tablet 10's improves arterial blood flow and lowers vascular resistance, thus relieving from vascular migraines
Nicergoline administered orally is rapidly and almost completely absorbed from the gut and is rapidly hydrolysed to an alcohol derivative, 1-methyl-10 alpha-methoxy-9,10-dihydrolysergol (MMDL), which is further N-demethylated to form 10 alpha-methoxy-9,10-dihydrolysergol (MDL).

The risk or severity of hypertension can be increased when Atomoxetine is combined with Nicergoline. The risk or severity of hypertension can be increased when Atropine is combined with Nicergoline. The risk or severity of hypotension and syncope can be increased when Avanafil is combined with Nicergoline.

If you miss a dose of Cholergol Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It should be taken at night-time before going to bed.
It may cause sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Cholergol Tablet affects you.
Do not stop taking the medication suddenly as it can cause worsening of headaches.
