Cini 25mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor, preferably at the same time each day. Cinnarizine inhibits smooth muscle cell contraction in the vasculature by blocking L-and T-type voltage-gated calcium channel. It is also known to bind to histamine H1 receptors, muscarinic (acetyl choline) receptors and dopamine D2 receptors
Cinnarizine is most commonly taken orally, in tablet form, with frequency and amount of dosage varying depending on the reason for taking the medication. Once ingested, the substance is absorbed quite rapidly and reaches a peak plasma concentration in 1–3 hours post-administration

Acebutolol Cinnarizine may increase the arrhythmogenic activities of Acebutolol.
Aceclofenac The risk or severity of hyperkalemia can be increased when Cinnarizine is combined with Aceclofenac.

If you miss a dose of Cini 25mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Two tablets of Cini 25mg Tablet can be given two hours before the travel to prevent motion sickness in adults, elderly, and children over 12 years. If necessary, one tablet every eight hours during the journey can be given. However, children between 5 and 12 years can take one tablet two hours before travel. An additional half a tablet every eight hours during the journey can also be given when required.

Cini 25mg Tablet can aggravate motor function in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Use of Cini 25mg Tablet should be avoided in these patients. An overdose of Cini 25mg Tablet can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, upset tummy, tremors, uncontrollable muscle spasms, muscle weakness or reduced muscle strength, drowsiness, or reduced consciousness. Young children may also experience seizures. If you accidentally take too many tablets or if a young child takes this medicine by accident, inform your doctor and seek immediate medical help.

No, Cini 25mg Tablet should not be taken for long term due to its potential side effects. It is mainly used for long term in older patients associated with vertigo. Using it without the doctor's supervision can put them at an unacceptable risk of extrapyramidal adverse effects. Such side effects may include Parkinsonism, which may be irreversible.
