Cintapro-OD Tablet is taken after meals in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Cinitapride works by increasing the concentration of a chemical known as acetylcholine that helps in increasing the contractions of the stomach muscles. This helps in faster emptying of the food conte.
Rapidly absorbed orally.
Enters brain, crosses Placenta and is secreted in milk.
Party conjugated in liver, excreted in urin with 24 hours.
Half life :3-6 hours, action lasts for 4-6 hours.

It is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with motility disturbances such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, non-ulcer dyspepsia and delayed gastric emptying. It may be also used in the management of nausea and vomiting
DRUG-DRUG INTERACTIONS: CINITAPRIDE may have interaction with phenothiazine (used to treat motion sickness), digoxin (used to treat heart failure), anti-dopaminergic drugs (used to treat schizophrenia), anticholinergic drugs (used to treat overactive bladder and COPD) and opioid analgesics (used to relieve pain)
Do not chew, crush or break it. Cintapro-OD Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store at room temperature below 25 degree C in a well closed container.
If you miss a dose of Cintapro-OD Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Cintapro-OD Tablet helps treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and indigestion.
Take it 15 minutes before each meal.
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Cintapro-OD Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away.
Do not consume alcohol while taking Cintapro-OD Tablet as it can increase dizziness and the risk of stomach damage.
