Cinzan Plus Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Cinzan Plus Tablet is used to treat vertigo. It is a combination medicine which acts by relaxing vascular smooth muscles of the blood vessels of the ear and improves the blood circulation. It also blocks the action of a chemical messenger that is responsible for lightheadedness in vertigo
Pharmacokinetics. Cinnarizine is most commonly taken orally, in tablet form, with frequency and amount of dosage varying depending on the reason for taking the medication. Once ingested, the substance is absorbed quite rapidly and reaches a peak plasma concentration in 1–3 hours post-administration
Dimenhydrinate must be metabolized into its active ingredient diphenhydramine to attain antiemetic efficacy. Therefore dimenhydrinate has a slower onset of action and is administered as a 60-mg dose to match the potency of 30 mg diphenhydramine
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

As the combination has some anticholinergic effects, it is contraindicated in patients with angle-closure glaucoma or urinary retention. If you miss a dose of Cinzan Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, Cinzan Plus Tablet can make you feel drowsy. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights or participating in potentially dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.
Q. Can Cinzan Plus Tablet cause indigestion?
Cinzan Plus Tablet may cause indigestion. However, taking it with or after food can prevent indigestion. Talk to your doctor if indigestion persists.
Q. Are there any contraindications associated with the use of Cinzan Plus Tablet?
Cinzan Plus Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with hypersensitivity to the active substances, diphenhydramine or other antihistamines of similar structure or to any of the excipients. Cinzan Plus Tablet should be avoided in patients with glaucoma, fits, increased intracranial pressure, alcohol abuse, urinating issues, liver or kidney disease. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Q. What if I accidentally take too much of this medicine?
Visit the nearest emergency department if you accidentally take too much of this medicine. Symptoms of an overdose may include tiredness, pupil dilation, unable to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, fast heart rate, sweating, headache, dizziness and shakiness.
Q. What if I miss a dose of Cinzan Plus Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Cinzan Plus Tablet, you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Cinzan Plus Tablet to make up for a missed dose.
Q. Can I stop taking Cinzan Plus Tablet if I feel well?
You should not stop taking Cinzan Plus Tablet until your doctor asks you to. If you stop taking Cinzan Plus Tablet earlier than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).
Q. What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Cinzan Plus Tablet?
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
