Cipcal D3 contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) which is a fat-soluble vitamin. It helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorus found in food and supplements. It is synthesized within the body after exposure to sunlight and is essential for many important functions of the human body. Sunscreen, protective clothing, limited exposure to sunlight, dark skin (high melanin content), and age may prevent getting enough vitamin D from the sun, thus leading to Vitamin D3 Deficiency. Vitamin D3 in Cipcal D3 is also important for calcium absorption in the body.
