Cipladine 7.5%W/V Topical Solution 100Ml works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, iodine in Cipladine 7.5%W/V Topical Solution 100Ml can easily penetrate microorganisms and oxidizes essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death. Cipladine 7.5%W/V Topical Solution 100Ml is effective against bacteria (Gram-positive and Gram-negative, including antibiotic-resistant and antiseptic-resistant strains), fungi, viruses, and protozoa. Cipladine 7.5%W/V Topical Solution 100Ml is used in degerming (physical removal of microbes) stasis ulcers (wound on the leg or ankle due to damaged veins), decubitus ulcers (bed sores), and the umbilical area. It is also used for degerming the intravenous devices in blood transfusions, hyperalimentation (artificial supply of nutrients), cutdowns, and central venous line.
