Clofaze CL Tablet VT is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash it immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.
Clofaze CL Tablet VT is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. It fights against the infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. It also prevents the further spread of the infection
After vaginal treatment with clotrimazole, the small fraction absorbed into the systemic circulation--between 3% and 10% of the dose--is subjected to metabolism and excretion as after oral or intravenous administration. The vaginal availability of clotrimazole is largely dependent on the formulation applied
Clindamycin is absorbed well orally and can be given parenterally. Clindamycin diffuses well into body fluids except cerebrospinal fluid; it is concentrated in phagocytes. Most of the drug is metabolized; metabolites are excreted in bile and urine.

CLINDAMYCIN+CLOTRIMAZOLE should be used with proper caution and doctor consultation if you have any liver, kidney and gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhoea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), allergic conditions (asthma, hay fever, eczema), diabetes and immune system problems (HIV-AIDS).
Clofaze CL Tablet VT is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

If you miss a dose of Clofaze CL Tablet VT, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
