Clotawin Injection is a hemostatic medication. It acts by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and helps in the formation of blood clots. It also helps in controlling bleeding from capillaries which are tiny blood vessels.
Ethamsylate acts on the first step of hemostasis by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance. Recent studies showed that ethamsylate promotes P-selectin-dependent, platelet adhesive mechanisms. Finally, we compare ethamsylate with other recent hemostatic agents
