Coedhea Forte Soft Gelatin Capsule can be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken in more than the recommended dose.Most common side effects which may be caused by this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, difficulty sleeping, dizziness and increased sensitivity to light. If these symptoms persist for a longer duration, please inform your doctor. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Coedhea Forte Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Coenzyme Q10, Dehydroepiandrosterone (Micronized) and Melatonin. Coenzyme Q10 is a precursor of natural male and female hormones. Dehydroepiandrosterone (Micronized) is a hormone which works as an antioxidant protecting the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals). Melatonin provides essential nutrients.
Plasma concentrations of coenzyme Q10 were measured by HPLC with electrochemical detection over 48 hours. Solubilized coenzyme Q10 exhibited high absorption creating higher plasma concentrations of the drug, as a result of which its bioavailability constituted 264% of that for the powder.Although the pharmacokinetics of DHEA and its metabolites are not altered, sustained baseline elevation of ADG, a distal DHT metabolite, raises concerns about the potential negative impact of DHEA supplementation on the prostate gland.Bioavailability of oral melatonin ranged from 9 to 33%. Pharmacokinetics was affected by age, caffeine, smoking, oral contraceptives, feeding status, and fluvoxamine. Critically ill patients displayed accelerated absorption and compromised elimination.
