Cofnil AM 30mg Syrup is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
Bioavailability of ambroxol administered orally is approximately 70–80%. The distribution half-life of ambroxol is 1.3 hours, metabolite is dibromoanthranilic acid (activity unspecified) and Elimination of ambroxol is biphasic, with an alpha half-life of 1.3 hours and a beta half-life of 8.8 hours.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Ambroxol is indicated for secretolytic therapy in bronchoplmonary disease with abnormal mucus secretion and transport. It allows the mucus to be more easily cleared and ease a patient's breathing. Build, train, & validate predictive machine-learning models with structured datasets.
AMBROXOL may have interaction with antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, and erythromycin) and a cough suppressant (codeine).

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Cofnil AM 30mg Syrup, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
