Cofol Z Capsule 15's is a supplement and compromises three medicines, namely: Iron, Zinc, and Folic acid. These three are essential substances required by the body to make more blood cells. Iron is a necessary mineral in the body needed by red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. By combining with a protein called haemoglobin, it helps in attracting oxygen in the lugs. Zinc is needed by the body's immune (defence) system to carry out its functions. It helps in cell growth, division, breakdown of carbohydrates, wound healing, and proper metabolism of iron. Folic acid is a vitamin B that helps the body make more red blood cells and helps the red blood cells carry out more oxygenated blood to other tissues of the body.
