Coldthrow AM Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are stomach upset, dryness in mouth, headache, fatigue, and allergic reaction. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can make dizziness worse.
Coldthrow AM Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better.
Levocetirizine exhibited linear pharmacokinetics over the therapeutic dose range in adult healthy subjects. Levocetirizine is rapidly and extensively absorbed following oral administration. In adults, peak plasma concentrations are achieved 0.9 hour after administration of the oral tablet.Bioavailability of ambroxol administered orally is approximately 70–80%. The distribution half-life of ambroxol is 1.3 hours, metabolite is dibromoanthranilic acid (activity unspecified) and Elimination of ambroxol is biphasic, with an alpha half-life of 1.3 hours and a beta half-life of 8.8 hours.

Hypersensitivity to Coldthrow AM Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, Coldthrow AM Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:

History of allergy to Ambroxol or Bromhexine
Pregnancy
Severe renal impairment
Coldthrow AM Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Coldthrow AM Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Levocetirizine+Ambroxol is used in the treatment of cough.Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Coldthrow AM Syrup may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Coldthrow AM Syrup may interact with the following drugs and products:
Antibiotics
Ritonavir
Theophylline
Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Coldthrow AM Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Coldthrow AM Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Consult a doctor before taking any medicines.
This combination medicine helps relieve runny nose, sneezing and productive cough.
Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Coldthrow AM Syrup can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Stop taking Coldthrow AM Syrup at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
Inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 14 days.
