Colikwin Drop prevents the formation and accumulation of gas. It also facilitates the passage of gas and allows patients to excrete a greater volume of gas thereby reduces uncomfortable or painful pressure in the stomach and intestines.This medicine is taken with meals preferably at bedtime in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor and doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Mechanism Of Action

Colikwin Drop is an antifoaming medicine. It disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.


Pharmacokinets

Simethicone and cellulose are both excreted unchanged in the feces. Simethicone is not known to interfere with gastric secretion or nutrient absorption; however, this medicine is usually taken after at least 4 hours of fasting. SonoRx may color the stool orange until elimination is complete, typically 24 to 48 hours.

General Information. Simethicone is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to simethicone or any component of the inactive ingredients.
