Collpure Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, heartburn, and discoloration of urine. If you experienced any such side effects that does not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.
Collpure Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Glucosamine, Diacerein and Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, which treats osteoarthritis. Glucosamine and Diacerein are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators while Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is a nutritional supplement. Together, they help in the building of cartilage (the soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. MSM additionally lowers inflammation (swelling) of the joints.
Glucosamine was rapidly absorbed after oral administration and its pharmacokinetics were linear in the dose range 750-1,500 mg, but not at 3,000 mg, where the plasma concentration-time profiles were less than expected based on dose-proportionality.The pharmacokinetics characteristics of diacerein are about the same in young healthy volunteers and elderly people with normal renal function, both after a single dose (50 mg) or repeated doses (25 to 75 mg twice daily). Rhein kinetics after single oral doses of diacerein are linear in the range 50 to 200 mg.MSM is alluded to be an effective agent against muscle soreness because of its anti-inflammatory effects as well as its possible sulfur contribution to connective tissue.

Cartilage is the connective tissue located on the bones near the joints. This build-up of cartilage helps in joint repair.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Collpure Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Collpure Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Aluminium hydroxide
Anisindione
Dicumarol
Heparin
High Blood Pressure medicines
Oxide
Psyllium husk
Warfarin
Do not chew, crush or break it. Collpure Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Collpure Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Collpure Tablet may cause indigestion. Take it with or after food to avoid Indigestion. Talk to your doctor if indigestion persists.
