Concyst 2mg Tablet is advised to take it in a dose and duration as per prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.
Tolterodine acts as a competitive antagonist of acetylcholine at postganglionic muscarinic receptors. Both urinary bladder contraction and salivation are mediated via cholinergic muscarinic receptors.
Tolterodine is an antimuscarinic drug and is prescribed to treat overactive bladder to relieve urinary difficulties. Tolterodine is predominantly metabolized by CYP2D6 and the metabolism of tolterodine involves the formation of pharmacologically active 5-hydroxymethyl tolterodine

DETROL Tablets are indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency. The initial recommended dose of DETROL Tablets is 2 mg twice daily. The dose may be lowered to 1 mg twice daily based on individual response and tolerability

If you miss a dose of Concyst 2mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

No, do not crush or chew the tablets. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food. Take it exactly as directed by your doctor.
