Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Cope D 10Mg/30Mg Tablet is used for the treatment of diseases like itching in throat or nose, runny nose, watery eyes, long-term hives and allergic rhinitis. It gives relief by blocking the passage of histamine
Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and Ambroxol, which relieves cough. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.31

Cetirizine is contraindicated in anyone with a known hypersensitivity to it or any of its ingredients. Cetirizine is also contraindicated in anyone with a known hypersensitivity to hydroxyzine, as cetirizine is a metabolite of hydroxyzine
Hypersensitivity. There are no other specific contraindications for administration of ambroxol however caution is advised in patients of gastric ulceration

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Stop taking Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
Inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 14 days.

No, avoid drinking alcohol while taking Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet. Drinking alcohol will increase the severity of drowsiness/sleepiness caused by Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet.
Q. Can I breastfeed while taking Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet?
No, it is not advisable to breastfeed while using Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet. This medicine contains Cetirizine, an antihistamine, which can pass into the breast milk and may harm the baby. Inform your doctor that you are breastfeeding if you are advised to take this medicine.

Yes, Cope D 10mg/30mg Tablet may make you feel drowsy or sleepy. Do not drive car, operate machinery, work at heights or participate in potentially dangerous activities until you know how the medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience such episodes while you are taking this medicine.

No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having serious side effects and toxicity. If the recommended dosage does not relieve your symptoms or there is an increased severity of your symptoms, please consult your doctor.
