Cosalon 50mg Tablet should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. Bicalutamide (Casodex) is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen that competitively inhibits the action of androgens by binding to the androgen receptor. Bicalutamide increases both testosterone and estradiol levels, and the estradiol levels approximate the low-normal levels of a premenopausal woman.

Pharmacokinets

Bicalutamide is metabolized in the liver by hydroxylation and glucuronidation. The metabolites of bicalutamide are not known to be active. The medication has a very long biological half-life of 6 days with a single dose and 7 to 10 days with repeated administration.
