The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better.The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, etc. You may also experience injection site redness, swelling, and pain that goes away with time. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are taking any medicines for any health condition. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine. It usually does not impair your ability to drive, but you should not drive if it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy.
Critipime T Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Tazobactum. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.
Pharmacokinetic studies indicate that cefepime exhibits linear pharmacokinetic behaviour. Pharmacokinetic variables are not significantly different between single- and multiple-dose administration, indicating a lack of drug accumulation in patients with normal renal function.It works by killing bacteria that cause infection. Tazobactam is in a class called beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying piperacillin. Antibiotics such as piperacillin and tazobactam injection will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Hypersensitivity to Critipime T Injection is a contraindication. In addition, Critipime T Injection should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Clostridium difficile infection
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins, penicillins or other beta-lactam antibiotics
Neurotoxicity caused by drug
Pseudomembranous colitis
Critipime T Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Critipime T Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Critipime T Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections, even if they have developed resistance.
Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps.
Inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.

Q. How long does Critipime T Injection takes to work?
Usually, Critipime T Injection starts working soon after taking it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
Q. What if I don't get better after using Critipime T Injection?
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
Q. Can I stop taking Critipime T Injection when I feel better?
No, do not stop taking Critipime T Injection and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
