Cureflam Tablet MR can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.
Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal agent with marked anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The mode of action of aceclofenac is largely based on the inhibition to prostaglandin synthesis. Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins
Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It acts by blocking nerve impulses or pain sensations that are sent to brain. Typically, it is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury
Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. After oral administration, aceclofenac is rapidly and completely absorbed as unchanged drug. Peak plasma concentrations are reached approximately 1.25 to 3.00 hours following ingestion. Paracetamol is readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract with peak plasma concentrations occurring about 30 minutes to 2 hours after ingestion. It is metabolised in the liver (90-95%) and excreted in the urine mainly as the glucuronide and sulphate conjugates. Less than 5% is excreted as unchanged paracetamol.
Analysis of plasma samples indicated a rapid absorption and rapid elimination of chlorzoxazone. Average values of the elimination half-life and plasma clearance were 1.12 +/- 0.48 hr and 148.0 +/- 39.9 ml/min, respectively

Chlorzoxazone is contraindicated in any patient with a known or suspected intolerance or hypersensitivity to the drug or any of the product ingredients. If a sensitivity reaction such as urticaria, pruritus, or skin erythema occurs, discontinue chlorzoxazone. Angioedema or anaphylactic reactions are extremely rare

Aceclofenac+Paracetamol is used for pain relief. Aceclofenac + Paracetamol is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. These medicines work by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation
Chlorzoxazone is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of this drug has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties
ACECLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL interact with cholesterol lowering drugs (cholestyramine), charcoal, medicine to stop vomiting (domperidone, metochlopramide), alcohol, anti HIV drug (zidovudine), blood thinner (warfarin), blood pressure lowering medicine, anti cancer or anti arthritis drug (methotrexate)
Buprenorphine Chlorzoxazone may increase the central nervous system depressant (CNS depressant) activities of Buprenorphine.
Bupropion The metabolism of Chlorzoxazone can be decreased when combined with Bupropion.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Cureflam Tablet MR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Cureflam Tablet MR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Consult a doctor before taking any medicines
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Cureflam Tablet MR as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Cureflam Tablet MR.
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.

Q. What is Cureflam Tablet MR?
Cureflam Tablet MR is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone. This medicine helps in relieving muscle pain by relaxing the affected muscles. It relieves pain caused due to muscle spasm, cramp or injury. It also lowers certain chemical substances in the body that cause pain.
Q. What can I do along with Cureflam Tablet MR to reduce muscle pain?
If you are suffering from muscle pain due to muscle injury or overuse, you should take rest. Taking rest will help you avoid any further injury and help you recover efficiently. Make sure that you take plenty of sleep and try to reduce stress. Applying ice pack to the affected area may help in relieving pain and inflammation. If your muscle pain is due to some other disease, follow the advice of your doctor.
Q. Can I get addicted to Cureflam Tablet MR?
No, there are no reports of any patient getting addicted to Cureflam Tablet MR.
Q. Can I stop taking Cureflam Tablet MR when my pain is relieved?
Cureflam Tablet MR is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, Cureflam Tablet MR should be continued if you are advised by your doctor to do so.
Q. Can the use of Cureflam Tablet MR cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Cureflam Tablet MR can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Q. Can the use of Cureflam Tablet MR cause damage to liver?
Cureflam Tablet MR contains Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone, both these medicines are known to cause harm to the liver especially when taken in doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal live enzymes.
Q. How long will Cureflam Tablet MR take to act?
It may take about an hour to notice the initial benefits of pain relief after taking Cureflam Tablet MR.
Q. What if I forget to take Cureflam Tablet MR?
If you forget to take the scheduled dose of Cureflam Tablet MR and it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the scheduled time. Otherwise, take it as soon as you remember, and then go back to taking your medicine as you would normally. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed because this may increase the risk of unwanted side effect due to overdosage. If you are not sure what to do, consult your doctor about how to manage a situation like this.
Q. Will Cureflam Tablet MR be more effective if taken in higher than recommended doses?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Cureflam Tablet MR?
The use of Cureflam Tablet MR is considered to be harmful in patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or active, recurrent stomach ulcer / bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
