Curenim Syrup should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.
The therapeutic effects of Nimesulide are the result of its complete mode of action which targets a number of key mediators of the inflammatory process such as: COX-2 mediated prostaglandins, free radicals, proteolytic enzymes and histamine. Rapidly absorbed following oral administration.

Its approved indications are the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old

With regard to absorption, there is some evidence that nimesulide may decrease the oral bioavailability of furosemide (frusemide). Nimesulide is extensively bound to plasma proteins and may be displaced from binding sites by concurrently administered drugs such as fenofibrate, salicylic acid and tolbutamide.

If you miss a dose of Curenim Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
