Curlzfin Tablet is to be taken by mouth with or without food. The dose and duration of the medicine should be taken as per prescription. An overdose of it may cause harm to your health. It is better to take the medicine at the same time each day and it must be swallowed as a whole. It may take some time for the medicine to act upon the symptoms, so it is important to take the medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.This medicine is usually well tolerated. However, it may cause some mild sexual side effects such as low decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation disorder. Some people may also experience allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, and swelling of the lips or face. If you experience any of these side effects, consult your doctor without delay.
Finasteride in Curlzfin Tablet works by blocking the action of an enzyme (5-alpha-reductase) that converts testosterone to another hormone (DHT) which is responsible for enlarged prostate in men. Thus, blocking the hormone, helps shrink the prostate & improve your condition.
Finasteride undergoes extensive hepatic metabolism to essentially inactive metabolites, which are eliminated through the bile and urine. The terminal elimination half-life (t1/2z) is 4.7 to 7.1 hours; but despite this, slow accumulation occurs with multiple doses.

Finasteride is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate to improve symptoms, reduce the risk of acute urinary retention, and reduce the risk of the need for surgery including transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and prostatectomy.
Certain medicines can interfere with the action of Curlzfin Tablet if taken at the same time. Always inform your doctor about all the medicine you are taking, which includes all prescribed or non-prescribed herbal medicines, dietary supplements as well as other treatments if you are taking for any disorder.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Curlzfin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Curlzfin Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
