Cyclomin 20mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Dicyclomine is used to treat a certain type of intestinal problem called irritable bowel syndrome. It helps to reduce the symptoms of stomach and intestinal cramping. This medication works by slowing the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines
Dicyclomine is an antimuscarinic agent used to treat IBS. Dicyclomine is a muscarinic M1, M3, and M2 receptor antagonist as well as a non-competitive inhibitor of histamine and bradykinin used to treat spasms of the intestines seen in functional bowel disorder and irritable bowel syndrome

Cyclomin 20mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Cyclomin 20mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Cyclomin 20mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Dicyclomine is indicated for the treatment of functional bowel disorder and irritable bowel syndrome.

Do not chew, crush or break it. Cyclomin 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Cyclomin 20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Consult a doctor before taking any medicines
Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
It may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
It may make you sweat less. Avoid doing things that may cause you to overheat such as exercise.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Cyclomin 20mg Tablet as it can cause excessive drowsiness and increase your risk of stomach problems.
Inform your doctor if you experience severe or long-lasting pain in your stomach.
