Ciclosporin binds to the cytosolic protein cyclophilin (immunophilin) of lymphocytes, especially of T cells. This cyclosporin—cyclophilin complex inhibits calcineurin, which is normally responsible for activating the transcription of interleukin

Cyclosporine is extensively distributed in peripheral tissues. Its volume of distribution is 3 to 5 L/kg. Cyclosporine distribution in the blood is approximately 41 to 58% in erythrocytes, 33 to 47% in plasma, 5 to 12% in granulocytes, and 4 to 9% in lymphocytes.

Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

If you miss a dose of Cyclomune 0.05% Eye Drop, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
