D3 Up Sachet 1 gm is a combination of Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Folic acid, Pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). Cholecalciferol is a steroid hormone produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet light or obtained from food sources. It is a form of Vitamin D and helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone. Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Folate is a water-soluble Vitamin B naturally found in food sources. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine is also known as vitamin B6. It is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin) is a coenzyme form of vitamin B12. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
